update validator

Use this command to update validator software.

  1. In the drop-down list, select update validator.

  2. In Solana client, choose the client type that is currently installed: Solana or Jito.

  3. In Solana version, choose the software version you want to update to.

  4. Enable Wait for window if you want to wait for а good time to update validator software. The good time means when the validator is not a leader and has an up-to-date snapshot.

The wait-for-restart-window command is used with following options:

--skip-new-snapshot-check

--max-delinquent-stake 15

--min-idle-time 2

  1. Click the Run Command button.
